The story of Janos Hunyadi is the epic tale of a hero born into modest circumstances, who, in 1456, with relentless determination and against all odds, vanquished the much larger Ottoman army, halting its drive to conquer the Vatican and overrun Western Europe. In so doing, Hunyadi not only shaped the history of Hungary, but that of all Europe. These books provide rich and unique insight into the dramatic conflicts of 15th Century Central Europe and the Ottoman Empire.
